Fire and Brimstone would like to congratulate Vulcanus Rex LXXV and his 2012 Vulcan Krewe on their handy defeat of Boreas Rex LXXVI. Those following the weather knew there could never be any doubt.
Your 2012 Vulcan Krewe members are:
Steve Robertson - Vulcanus Rex LXXV
Tom Froyum - Prince of Soot (Prime Minister)
Pete Farrell - Count of Ashes
Ed Cortinas - Count Embrious
Mark Leisman - Grand Duke Fertilious
Iakovos Tsoukalas - General Flameous
Tommy Cherep - Duke of Klinker
Michael Heck - Baron Hot Sparkus

This year, the EB Organization (former Count Embrious members) have teamed up with Coats of Kindness to gather donations at the upcoming EB Gets Bucked event. Coats of Kindness collects lightly used coats, jackets, scarves, mittens/gloves and also takes cash donations to help people stay warm during these frosty winter months. (After all isn't that what Vulcans are about anyway?)
The event will be held at the Moose Country on Saturday, January 28th. Admission is free. Please take a moment to go through your closets and make a donation to this very worthwhile cause! More information about Coats of Kindness can be found at their website.

In conjunction with the brewmasters at Flat Earth Brewery, Fire and Brimstone would like to announce availability of Red Cape Ale, a new beverage now available on tap at many establishments in and around Saint Paul. Reviews have been favorable even among those who seldom drink beer. (Author included.) To find out where to get a bottle, keg or glass from a tap, you should check out the Flat Earth Brewing website!
Fire and Brimstone would like to congratulate the Red Cape Ale team on this fine accomplishment, brewed with such fine ingredients and pure Saint Paul water!

Planning is underway to celebrate the 2012 Vulcan Krewe and their defeat of Boreas.

For many years men of character have followed in the footsteps of generations of Vulcans. While much about the Order remains shrouded in mystery and the secret handshake is still kept very secret, there is always a space for seven new recruits to hit the street every year. For 2012 the time is now. If you ever had questions about how to join a krewe or what it means to be a Vulcan - questions about time, or money or what it can mean for your family and your life, you will have a chance to ask those questions now.
We are holding a recruitment evening on October 3rd. The time and place will only be disclosed on a need to know basis. If you feel you need to know, you should send an email to recruiting@stpaulvulcans.org. We will contact you with instructions.
